The President of Equimor and chief portfolio manager of EMIC, is Michael Woods. Mr. Woods is a real estate lawyer and mortgage broker who also holds an Honours B.A. in Economics and an M.B.A. majoring in corporate finance. Mr. Woods has 20 years experience in structuring and closing real estate transactions and has been involved in real estate as a lawyer, broker and investor for many years.  We believe that having an experienced real estate lawyer and mortgage broker as portfolio manager is essential as the legal issues surrounding mortgages must be fully understood to manage the portfolio properly. Mr. Woods also brings his considerable expertise in corporate finance and is currently a candidate to receive a Master’s Degree in Securities law from Osgoode Hall in Toronto, Ontario. .

Douglas Loosemore

Mr. Loosemore is the Vice-President of Equimor and is in charge of Investor Relations. He is an experienced and accredited mortgage professional and brings expertise gained from a number of years experience in the mortgage field. He graduated from the Honours Bachelor of Commerce program at the University of Windsor and also holds a Masters degree from the University of Toronto. Mr. Loosemore is also a significant investor in EMIC.
